A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ... sounds familiar? Don’t worry if it doesn’t ring a bell cause You are about to read a whole different story about a place not that far away ...

Episode I „The Forest Gloom”

XII century, king Bolesław the Wrymouth reclaims the Pomerania. Fearing for the future wars of thrones, creates the testament which names his successor to the throne of Polish Kingdom.
Meanwhile, somewhere in a deep forest grows a small, not yet significant colony called Lodza. It’s inhabitants slowly but systematically cut down more and more trees ...

Episode II „ The better room”

XIV century, the Kingdom of Poland reunites after years of feudal fragmentation. Polish sovereigns aim at claming new lands and stabilizing situation insde the kingdom.
At that time, Lodza isn’t some insignificant village any more. Throughout centuries it became a small town with it’s own trade market and a brand new name: Łódź. The life style of citizens has totally changed. They cut down a sufficient number of trees and revealed their urban aspiration in constant developement of building structures.

Episode III „Back to Forest Gloom”

XVII century, war! Dark clouds has gathered above Polish Kingdom. It is crumbling under attacks by Swedish Empire, so is the city of Łódź. Crisis is everywhere! Destroy by war campaigns, epidemics and a great fire Łódź struggles with social collapse, economic decline and increasing ignorance amomg citizens. 

Episode IV „The Manufacturer’s Palace”
XIX century, after years of battles and 3 partitions of Poland, Polish nation is about to redefine it’s identity, start to fight for independance and rebuild the fallen country. During this period Łódź becomes one of the most developed and wealthy cities in Poland. More and more people decides to move to the city of industrial progress, unofficialy called „The Promise Land”.

To be true... Fuck all of that. I had some photos with those jewish, handsome guys’ monument. We laughed about it with my friend, now it’s just a great memory.
All I want to say is that Lodz is now different. It seems to be such a dirty city, but... it does have soul. I never had parties like this before, I feel alive in this dirty city. I has many opportunities - make use of them.
